Victory + Wizard term combined

The name VIZARD is meant to convey an image of a wizard hauling in victories.
We devoted ourselves to the development of shafts that would deliver wins to all contract professionals and golfing enthisiasts.

VIZARD for DRIVER・FW

When the butt section of shaft is thick, users often feel that the club is heavy and hard. Therefore, for the feel to remain unchanged even when the butt section is made thinner, a new carbon fiber material, TORAYCA®T1100G was introduced and the shaft was designed with HONMA’s unique special rigidity adjustment method(Pat. Pend.). As a result, features of the A, C and Z series are emerged, while keeping the outer diameter at the butt section unchanged as much as possible.
Most of the TEAM HONMA pros are using it in the actual tournament.

EX-A

The center section of the shaft and grip is firm and has a softer tip. We succeeded in making the grip portion thinner while retaining the features of past A type-series shafts. VIZARD EX-A has an ultimate flex shaft with the weight at the grip portion felt at address has been reduced thereby ensuring a sharper swing.

EX-C

Rigidity of the shaft center is high, and setting the rigidity of tip end and high end part mild to give easy swing timing without a habit. The VIZARD EX-C with a feeling of ultimate balance in the response to the requests of many professional golfers that "The ideal shaft design of the high end of silhouette to be thinner as possible".

This is a stiff shaft with firm center section and tip and softer grip portion. VIZARD EX-Z is an ultimate stiff shaft designed through extensive testing by professional golfers. The club prevents the ball from going left while possessing strength and a stiff feel on the grip.

Lightweight and heavyweight zones of shafts coordinate with the product flow of irons.

In order to meet the demands of professional golfer Hideto Tanihara, who indicated that he wanted us to produce a shaft that would allow him to hit balls on a low trajectory and feel as if the ball were riding on the face of the head, we modified the VIZARD IB, a weighted carbon shaft for irons, into a shaft designed especially for wedge clubs. By increasing the stiffness of the tip and moderating the stiffness of the grip, balls can be hit with power, the loft at impact operates in accordance with the standing direction of the golfer, and exceptional spin performance is rendered.

Hideto Tanihara comment I have repeatedly tested this shaft since last year and can definitely say with pleasure that a shaft has been produced to my satisfaction. It feels as if the ball is riding on the face of the head. And with a low trajectory, the ball spins incredibly well.
